Event Held: April 11 and 13, starting at St. Cecilia's Church (5414 Alaska Ave, 63111)
Recap: Twenty-one seniors (eleven April 11, ten on April 13) were led on a tour of four of South City's most beautiful, historic, and awe-inspiring churchese--St. Cecilia, St. Anthony of Padua, St. John of Nepomuk, and First Trinity Lutheran. Nini Harris, local author and tour guide, provided wonderful insights on each church's architecture, artwork, history, and neighborhood. Lunch was enjoyed at the Feasting Fox, where Ms. Harris regaled seniors with the history and facts of the lcoal restaurant and surrounding neighborhood.
