Executive Director
Sheala Vast-Binder will be joining SGSM Network as our new Executive Director on January 2, 2012. Sheala comes with a broad background in religion and education, working collaboratively with churches, community organizations and schools to achieve their goals and be a witness of God’s love.
She attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and received her B.A. in Christian Education. She earned her M.A. in Religion from The Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, TX. Sheala and her husband, John, have been married since 1991. They have two children, Elizabeth (deceased) and Nate.
Over the years, Sheala has worked as a college campus minister, Christian writer and editor, social services program coordinator, and media specialist. Their family moved to St. Louis in 2008 so that Sheala could work with InterFACE Ministries in the metropolitan area.
When asked about this new role, Sheala stated, “I am thrilled about the opportunity to minister alongside the SGSM staff and board!”
